I choose BBC because it is a very popular independent media body based in the United Kingdom, known for its honest news all over the world. And I always read about BBC in the internet and hear about it in social life. The article was published in 2013 which is 4 years ago. And the author Andrew Bomford has been a reporter since 1999. He was clear in his purpose of the article, that he was focusing on the global warming because he did not just mention the electric cars he also talks about the factories that produces the electric cars, that they are also not helping in the global warming issue. It was published for drivers audience and people who manufacture cars.

I am explaining the advantages and disadvantages in electric cars, this source I have chosen is talking about one of the advantages of electric cars which can help my argument. The useful points is that electric cars are taking part in lowering the global warming and cutting emissions.
