As a healthcare leader, you will be accountable to many people, including employees, patients and their families, the executive board, and the agencies that monitor the organization’s behavior. Oftentimes, you are required to help support your colleagues in instances where they are not feeling as motivated or as confident in their role as a healthcare practitioner. What is the best way to approach these situations? How can you help provide support to your colleagues to help them increase their motivation or feeling of self-actualization, so that the patients and the organizations for which you work are treated appropriately?
For this Assignment, you will reflect on your responsibilities as a healthcare leader and examine the importance of providing the appropriate tools and strategies to support their humanistic needs.

In your op-ed:
Explain the potential conflicts that can arise in the organization and how that impacts the organization as a whole.
Describe the effects on others in an organization, if a leader models positive and supportive behavior to help motivate other employees
Synthesize the importance of a leader to exhibit humanistic qualities from Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
