Hard copy (printed version)
Your assignment must be submitted to your tutor in your tutorial class in Week 5 as a
printout of Microsoft Word document. You need to include a completed cover sheet. The
cover sheet must be signed and dated.
Soft copy (Word document)
You must also submit your assignment on the Moodle site via the upload link in the
Assignment section. The online copy can be submitted any time before your tutorial. You
are only required to submit one Word document without the cover sheet. The file must
be labelled using your full name and student ID.

Late submissions
If you are unable to submit the assignment in the tutorial, but you are submitting it on the
same day as your tutorial, attach a brief note explaining the lateness. If the assignment
is submitted on a subsequent day, an in-semester special consideration form must be
completed. Late assignments should be placed in the Lecturer’s mailbox on Level 5 of
Building H, Caulfield campus (Charanjit Kaur, mailbox no. 5111). A penalty of up to 5%
may apply for each day an assignment is late unless an extension of time has been sought.
Extensions will only be granted for substantive reasons at the discretion of the Lecturer.
Background Information on the Assignment:
You are required to answer all questions. In order to answer the questions, you will need to
refer to the Excel data file provided in Assignment section on Moodle.
Remember, how you present your answers is very important. Convey the findings in the
clearest, simplest way. Always provide evidence and make appropriate references to tables
and charts produced.
Presentation
Your assignment must be clearly set out, well labelled and easy to follow. You must use an
appropriate font size. Font size 12 is desirable. Any appropriate font type is acceptable. You
must also draw borders and label all graphs appropriately. Please spell-check your answers
before submitting.
