Writing a persuasive proposal involves discussing topics that may be controversial, but are important to your audience. When persuading your audience, it’s important that you are knowledgeable in the subject area, since your main goal is to influence how the readers think about the topic. You are to write a persuasive proposal using one of the scenarios below. To complete the assignment satisfactorily, bothparts described below must be addressed in your paper.

Scenario Options:

• As the operations manager of a health care practice, you are proposing to the Physician Partners that you reorganize the staff and hire 3 new positions.
• As a management consultant you are proposing that an organization hire you to develop their strategic plan.
• As the Executive Director of a non-profit agency, you are proposing to the Board of Directors that you change the direction of your services to meet needs in the community.
• If you prefer, create your own scenario based on a business or organization that you are familiar with.

Part 1:

Write the actual proposal based upon the scenario you have identified. This should be no more than 2 pages in length, and should be written using business writing style (see attached document for guidance and tips on business writing style).

Part 2:

Write Part 2 of your assignment in academic style of writing following APA guidelines. You are to identify, define and discuss the persuasive method or structure used in your proposal, and its components. The second part of your assignment should be 2-3 pages in length and supported by at least 3 peer-reviewed sources. A Title page and Reference page should be included in your final paper, but not included in the final page count.
