These examples are to be from 2010-2012.

You are to analysis the government action based on the expected outcome based on economic theory and also report on the actual outcome (your opinion can be used here, but please back it up with facts). Part of your analysis must include the impact on the household (consumption), firm (investment), government (government spending, taxes, & transfer payments) and Net Exports (imports and exports).

This is a major project. I am allowing you 3 week of class time complete this project. Therefore, I expect you to spend significant time on this project.

You are expected to do research outside of the class material. You will be expected to have at least two academic quality sources in addition to the textbook for each topic (you will have a minimum of 4 additional references). Wiki’s and blogs are not a valid academic source. Dictionary.com and other site that provide definitions are not acceptable. While I do not like setting a minimum length for this paper, I expect significant effort put into this paper. Simply answering the about questions will NOT earn you a passing grade on this paper.

You will submit the in the following format. You will use APA format for all citations and reference page. Word Document, 1 inch margin, Times New Roman 12 font. In addition to showing an understanding for the subject matter, spelling and grammar will be considered in your final grade. Twenty-five percent (25%) of your grade will be based on correctly formatting your paper.

You must defend your opinion using facts and logic gained in this class. “Because it is the right thing to do” is NOT an acceptable reason.
