1. Please read the following stories: The first two are in regards to a report about Apple factory employee working conditions. There were reports of nets to stop people from committing suicide. As you will soon learn, Mr. Daisey fabricated the entire story. What I find most fascinating about these readings are 1.) Employees are experiencing poor working conditions, but this man’s lies took away from important focus on human rights issues. 2.) Today, I have students who are still repeating parts of Mr. Daisey’s fabricated story as truth. I then have to correct the student and tell them that they are retelling a myth.
So please find the three readings: 1 & 2 about Mr. Daisey and 3. A true story about employee working conditions at a factory making Apple iphones.
2. Please address the following questions in 300 words or more and then respond to two peers in 50 words or more. Don’t forget to number your responses.
3. This post is worth 30 points. You must respond to two peers to receive full credit.
