I informed her that she wouldn’t be able to do that bond. She got mad and started fussing and cussing. I kept my composure and told her that I understand her frustration but my manager and the Sheriff both told me I wouldn’t be able to do it. She eventually left but things could have gotten bad if I had fussed with her. Keeping the situation under control and no argument made our encounter more professional.
