3. Calculate the total magnification with the objective lens used.
4. Demonstrate the proper use of dry and oil immersion objective lenses for viewing slides.
5. Prepare and observe a wet mount slide in focus.
6. Explain the importance of dyes and stains for cells and their structures.
7. Demonstrate the proper handling and storage of a compound light microscope.
