Company Description

In this section you will describe the legal and organizational structure of the company. The legal structure would be a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation (C or S), or a limited liability company. Is the organizational structure mechanistic or organic?

Applied Management Theories

In this section you will describe two management theories that can be applied to this company. First, explain a theory using academic literature. Next, explain how the theory could be used in your chosen company. What implications would this theory have on company management and structure? Repeat this process for your second theory.

In this section describe the competitive challenges faced by your company. In this section, you may include sources from newspaper articles and trade journals that are not peer reviewed. However, you must cite the sources used in APA 6th edition style.

Leadership Styles

In this section describe leadership styles that would be appropriate for this company. What is the culture of the organization? After examining the culture of the organization, what leadership style would be appropriate? Use academic peer reviewed literature to defend your position.

Business Strategies

In this section, apply what you have learned from organization theory and design to the company’s business strategies. First you should explain the company’s business strategies. Does the company use differentiation or cost leadership? Has this worked for the company in terms of growth and profitability?

Conclusion

Write a short conclusion for your management critique paper.
