You may find that a combination of more than one solution is needed, which is fine as long as it is defended properly. Although the solution package has a local/regional focus you can supplement it by the ‘bigger picture’ impact of the global implication of this solution. You are expected to research and read relevant material from other sources, and to evaluate and strengthen the case of the package you are putting forward.
Deliverable
The final report (6000 Words) should be built on the interim report by proposing and defending the details of the ‘sustainability package’ that you think best addresses the one or more major problem(s) as identified in the interim report.
The main parts of the interim report are to be included in the final report, after being revised based on the feedback that was received on the interim report. Thus the final report will be a complete and comprehensive report that can be used without having to refer back to the interim report.
