For the assignment you basically have to compare a (genre of love) to a poem, movie and song. I have chosen “Patriotic” love, being the easiest from the list of poems given to the grade. My poem is “The Soldier” by Rubert Brooke. The movie I have chosen is “American Sniper” and I haven’t yet chosen a song. I don’t know any patriotic songs so I hope you could chose a song that fits in.

The theme of this poem is patriotic love.
My hypothesis is stating that – Patriotic love is dangerous, noble and all consuming. (You can change it if you have better option)
(Example of intro sentence paragraph 1) Rubert Brooke’s poem The Soldier in 1914 effectively highlights that patriotic love is dangerous, noble and all-consuming through the use of ideas, perspective and language.
