Vicki is a 42-year-old African American woman who was diagnosed with Hypertension a month ago.
She has been married to her high school sweetheart for the past 20 years. She is self-employed and
runs a successful insurance agency. Her work requires frequent travel and Vicki often has to eat at
fast food restaurants for most of her meals.
Requirements
Write a 5-6 page paper (including separate title and reference pages), discussing the
patient’s diagnosis. Your paper should address the following points:
• Include a definition of the actual disease or condition.
• Identify the factors that could have caused or lead (Pathogenesis) to the particular disease
or condition.
• Describe normal functioning of the body system and body system changes as a result of
the disease process.
• The signs and symptoms of the disease.
• Other affected body systems that are associated with the disease or condition.
