1. According to Islam’s eschatology resurrection was possible. People believed that the soul will be resurrected to the same material body. “The Hour” – this is the day of resurrection. The inhabitants of Heaven will be resurrected first. Then Allah will resurrect everyone else. However, the resurrection happens only once, so there is no second chance. People are being judged by “the Scale” – this is when Allah validates the preliminary judgment at the grave by weighing the good and bad deeds of each person. According to the reading the resurrection comes when “the sun and the moon are brought together”. So it has to be a very specific day, specific time. Islam’s eschatology claims that there is the end of History, end of time.
