Concept mapping is a pictorial way to describe thoughts or ideas related to an event or situation and other factors related to that event or situation. For visual learners, concept mapping can be a more effective way to get the most important thoughts or ideas across to self, another person, or a group of people. There is a great example of concept mapping in your reading assignment this module.
Create a Concept Map containing the key elements of communication and how this impacts critical thinking and patient care. You are to take one key factor about communication and add other key notations about how that one factor can influence critical thinking and patient care. You may be creative in your concept mapping with use of different shapes, fonts, and colors; have fun with this assignment!

1) Describe at least five differences in nursing practice in the late 1800s and the 21st century (examples include education, work environments, staffing loads, subservient image, technology, etc).—remember to paraphrase, read and then put the material in your own words and provide in text citation and referencing.
2) Additionally, describe what professionalism in nursing means to you and give three examples of how you can portray professionalism when you become a nurse.
