· Why the area is necessary for a competitive economy in a global market place.
In your initial post, send an email presenting your business case to the director of HR. Provide a brief summary of why you feel your selected area is critical to the organization’s success.

How should responsibilities be distributed among local, regional, and global HR units? Why? How should the human resource management responsibilities be divided between the HR functions and local managers? Why?

· hire/fire decisions,
· performance management,
· expatriate compensation, and
· reward strategies.
