Task
The seven-episode TV documentary series First Australians: The untold story of Australia (directed by Rachel Perkins and Beck Cole and produced by Darren Dale and Rachel Perkins, 2008) is an important resource for this course. It is recommended that you watch the seven episodes of the series. The episodes chronicle the birth of contemporary Australia from the perspective of its First Peoples. The documentary gives an historical account of the experiences of aboriginal Australians across the continent.

For this assignment you are expected to choose one episode from the series and explore the way in which the narrative speaks to the contemporary issues Equality, racism and privilege
Use relevant literature to develop your argument.
