The graph on Page 3 comes from fieldwork that Professor Barros (MDC-Wolfson) was involved
with in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Probes that had temperature and salinity sensors were released
into the ocean, which measured both variables with respect to depth. The left panel on page 3
illustrates how temperature changes with depth, while the right panel on page 3 illustrates
salinity changes with depth. These readings were taken at a latitude of 8 ½ degrees North and 97
degrees West on 13 September 2001. By reading the charts on page 3 and using the temperaturesalinity (T-S) diagram on Page 4, fill in the following table. (5 points each, 75 points total)
