You are very interested in PKU, and you decide that you want to know more about it. You have decided that the best way to do this would be to study the biochemical pathways that underlie phenylalanine synthesis/metabolism in a model organism (not human). You can use any organism that you would like (prokaryote or eukaryote). Design a set of experiments to look at this biochemical pathway or the signaling pathways that regulate it in greater detail.
