Facts: The following case was heard and argued in the 8th day of august 2014 which was brought to the courts by the plaintiffs, Jesse Busk and other employees, who was a former employee in the company where the defendants, Integrity Staffing Solutions Inc. required that all the employees would be subjected to the daily screening and scanning before leaving the premises to ensure that they do not become security as well as theft threats. The plaintiffs who were all former employees sued this company stating that they were supposed to be compensated during the time that they spent being waited to be searched, which was roughly about 25minutes. This was based on the Fair Labor Standards Act passed in the year 1938. They argued that the procedure was solely for the benefit of the employer and customers only and not to their advantage and this consumed their time therefore they should be compensated.
