Review: Resources from week 3 on Kolcabas theory.
Select a nursing theory of interest.
Create a Graphic Organizer, a flowchart for example, to outline a procedure for testing the theory.

Write a 1,400- to 2,100-word paper summarizing the theory testing procedure to accompany the graphic.
· Identify a procedure to measure the success of the theory in order to determine whether the theory you selected is scientifically stable and is a guide to practice.
· Discuss possible uses of the theory-testing outcomes in a selected nursing department, and with selected leaders.
Test your selected theory using the determinants outlined in Silvas method found in the Walker & Avant text.
Include the graphic organizer as Appendix A of the paper.
