This Reflection Paper is a critical analysis of an ethical issue that leads to a decision on the appropriate response to the issue. It also shows how the decision fits into your overall approach to life.

Research should also be a part of the use of the Bible and Christian Tradition. For example, there may be more than one translation and interpretation of biblical passages. You should consider the options and conclude which you feel is most revelatory. Scripture should be supported with chapter and verse references.
You should strive to identify your feelings and preconceived biases. These should be identified early on the reflection process so that your reflection can be based on an open consideration of the information (revelation) available.
• Decision. Your decision should be logically and clearly spelled out. You may only be able to “sketch out” a decision making process without making the paper inordinately long. But, some sort of a decision making process should be evident. Be sure to challenge yourself in this process. Make the decision your own.
• Virtue/Narrative. In this section discuss how your concept of virtues affected your decision. Also, show how your decision reinforced or was compatible with your understanding of a virtuous life as it relates to your life.
