Question Description
In your final project, you will propose recommendations for the technology solution that best meets the needs of your business, including what your business owner must consider in regard to the security and privacy of company data.
Additionally, you will incorporate the feedback you received on Milestone One and Milestone Two.

For milestone one the instructor said this:
Roseal, this was a good start at stating the problem that the retailer was trying to solve. You missed a good portion of information by not addressing the other needs of the client, which is just as important. He is looking to also integrate online shopping, manage inventory and shipping, provide order status and online payment processing, facilitate collaboration internally and externally, manage customer contacts, provide reporting, integrate technology that can be used both online and brick & mortar, manage customer information and a reporting tool to managed in making informed decisions. Also take a look at the ultimate goal again. You want to make sure you covered that well as it appears that you only took one portion of that.
Introduction: Two Technologies: Roseal, you did well in identifying and describing the two technologies that you will research in you systems analysis paper. It was really looking for a definition of the two. You did not fully provide the definition but I will give you credit for this. Just as a heads up, these two technologies together will cover all of the 7 technological requirements. So you are good there.
Business Requirements: Objectives:
You did well describing the objectives that the business is trying to achieve. The information you provided does align with the business. For the final submission, you want to make sure that you are enhancing the objectives by taking into consideration the new technologies that you would be using. Being able to do that will help to earn you the exemplary grade in this category.

Not quite there on the project description. Please go back into the milestone and make sure that you are specifically making sure your response answers the 3 questions in the requirement. It looks like you may have missed some things with the second question specifically. You want to make sure that you identify the business needs to satisfy the objectives, explain what the desired results are at the end of the project and outline why it is important for our business owner to consider implementing new technologies. You just want to use the facts to define what is already there.

There are 7 key technological requirements in the rubric. You need to address them here and also how the new technology impacts our company. You did address some of them in this section but not all. Please either review my tip posting for this milestone in the announcements or review the project in its entirety to identify the technological requirements. Please reach out if you cannot identify them for some reason. It told you right in the milestone that it was found in the decision matrix.
Competitors and Technology: Technology One:
You did well with Bluefly in describing how they utilized mobile computing in their operations. You were able to point out some key features that would really work for our store. To make this exemplary for the final project, you want to directly address how some of things they are doing would look if we used it in our store operations.
Competitors and Technology: Technology Two:
Roseal, same deal here with Technology Two and Macys. Same applies as the previous technology. You did very well.

Roseal, good wrap up with the benefits. You shared something that you learned and referenced that as well as providing a specific example of how to adopt that for our business. To make this exemplary for your final, you will want to provide additional insight into how using the potential two technologies would provide much more of a benefit for our company.

Your submission was done well with little to no spelling and grammar errors. Your paper was done well in APA format. You did provide citations and references for your paper as required. Your references were formatted correctly and done well.

Roseal, it appears as though you have a good understanding of what business analysis entails and how the role of a business analyst is critical to an organization. You just have a few things to correct. Make sure to review my comments in each of the sections for the rubric to make sure there are not any additional recommendations for the final project.

Good job Roseal. You did a great job of explaining how your selection for Technology One would meet the technology requirements of the business owner. There were 7 technology requirements and you did a thorough job of addressing the ones for mobile computing with the main issue being that you did not correctly identify the requirements that it covers. It only covers 5 of the 7. It does not satisfy requirements #4 and 6.

Same here with Technology Two as Technology One. The information that you provided for big data is incorrect. This will cover 4 of the 7 requirements. It does not cover requirements #1, 2 and 3. Please make sure to rectify this for the final or I will deduct points for it. To make this exemplary for the final, you want to make sure to look at the more outstanding features of mobile computing that would benefit this business.
Recommendations: Technology Solution: You should have recommended them both to cover all of the technology requirements for the business.

Your overall benefit aligns with the goals of the business and ties it all together. You did a great job of explaining how it would enhance efficiency and help the business to position itself for future growth by implementing the technologies you recommended. You will be able to make this exemplary in your final project by expanding on the benefits not only for new technology (also talk about the benefits of new technologies in specifics) but the benefits that would impact the entire business as it moves forward in this new direction.
