Cooperation, by definition, is the process of working together to the same end. In another word, the cooperation is a kind of assistance for each member in a group to reach their goal. With the assistance from other member, it will be much easier to accomplish the goal. Thus, I will agree with the idea the social contract theorist’ claim that cooperation is more beneficial than non-cooperation. Humans live within a society, by the same time, society operated by humans. If people do not have the same goal to work and cooperate as a team for the society, the society will collapse. In order to do this, people are supposed to give up their own interest or regard the common interest as their own. When people are living in a society without cooperation, there will be a extreme chaos. For example, if there is no cooperation, it means that everyone is concerning their own interest. It also means that when someone’s interest or right or property is threatened or impacted, no one else would even care about them. Since the society is based on the cooperation of humans, the economy and the politics are working or growing based on the cooperation as well. For example, a company contains hundreds of people working together. Each one in the company is like a component combining a system, and each component is critical that if the system cannot work missing anyone of these components. The company is working regularly so that makes it possible for the society to improve their economy, industry. Then the society will grow. In conclusion, the world is based on cooperation.
