This category lists the audio and video assignments you are tested on. Your textbook comes included with a 2 CD set, and you are required to obtain an additional 4 CD set. Most (but not all) chapters will have a selection of music that you are to listen to. I have posted the LISTENING TESTS for these chapters as assignments in each learning module. You can take these tests any time before or on the date for that chapter.
…. .
When you submit your Listening Assignments to me, I require the following information. You will not get full credit if any of these items are missing.
1) Title of Work
2) Movement of work (if applicable). (Many musical works have more than one, uninterrupted, unique section. When this happens, each of those sections are titled “MOVEMENT”, and are often titled and numbered.)
3) Name of Composer (if applicable)
EXAMPLE:
1) Symphony #1 (title)
2) 2nd movement (Allegro) (movement)
3) K T Futterer (composer)
NOTE: Blackboard often scrambles the order of the listening tests. When you submit your answers, be sure to include the entire number for that listening example. For example, the listening tests for Part 2 are numbered 21, 22, 23, 24, & 25. Part 3 tests are numbered 31, 32, 33, 34 & 35.
