Your task is to write a learning essay on self-assessment. The goals of the essay are to:

– discuss theoretical and practical issues related to self-assessment.

Instructions:
1.Read Module 3 Content Guide (if necessary, refresh Module 1 and Module 2 content guides in your memory).
2. In your E-Portfolio and Learning Journal Workbook, begin working on Module 3 Self-Assessment Worksheets by responding to tasks and writing brief notes. In particular, you’ll be asked to identify your Critical Skills Areas (CSA), then subareas (competencies) and elements of competency. You may incorporate (and broaden) those notes into your essay.
3. Then, you’ll be asked to identify benchmarks (standards, best practices) in performing those elements of competency. You may briefly summarize your thoughts/findings in the Workbook and elaborate more in your essay.
4. Then, you’ll be asked to identify self-assessment methods and techniques that you can use to measure and benchmark your mastery in performing elements of competency. Once again, you may list those methods and techniques in the Workbook and elaborate more in your essay.
5. Then, you’ll be asked to conduct self-assessment for some most important (for you) elements of competency and describe this exercise in detail in the essay and very briefly in the Workbook.
6. Finally, your result should be reported in the Self-Assessment Tool. It’s a good idea to describe your results in the essay and provide your thoughts on the results and the process.
When formatting, follow the college requirements for academic writing (APA style, quotations, the use of sources, proofreading, a title page, introduction and conclusion, logical and coherent text). Do not write more than 5-6 pages. The due date is the last day of Module 3.
