There are increasing the number of ventilator acquired pneumonia (VAP) in general ward in our Princess Margaret hospital (PMH).
WHY?
Topic: To promote the prevention of ventilator acquired pneumonia’s ventilator bundle among nursing staff in respiratory acute ward.
Identify the strategies?
VAP prevention strategies will be promoted among nursing staffs in respiratory wards in PMH. By using four “E” strategies frameworks, they are Engagement, Education, and execution and Evaluation strategies.
Who are the stakeholders?
Junior nursing staff, new comers in respiratory ward.
What are the goals and priorities?
The goal of the project is to raise the awareness and enhance the knowledge related to VAP among nursing staffs so that ventilator bundle can be applied in respiratory ward.
