After reading the Unit’s reading assignment I would like to discuss thoroughly about chapter 1 The Big Business of Health Care and You. There reason why I chose this topic is because this is the main think that we must have to keep in mind while working into the Health field.

One of the questions that I asked to myself while reading this unit was What do I know and how do I conduct myself to influence in patients experience. If we want to project a good experience there are two thinks that we must place in practice, first, treat patient with Ethic and second one keeps their information secure and safe.

The ignorance of a law does not excuse us from a violation. Patient Privacy and confidentiality have ethical and legal bases, therefore the incurrence in any of the regulations might cause in a penalty.

Patient Bill of Right includes acknowledgment of patients right to decide which treatment does they wants to perform or refuse medical treatment, even if their Doctor recommends it, another right is to be treated with respect in any environment, be free from discrimination and with ethic.

Patients also has the right to be treated with confidentially and be informed by their health care provider about diagnosis, course of treatment, possible alternative of treatments, and prognosis.
