Now we are talking social constructions and disabilities. I’m sure many of you have seen and heard of this video clip or even saw the press conference where the POTUS was accused of mocking an individual with a disability. Even if he was not mocking this reporter we all know it happens all to often. I’d like to hear your thoughts, what message does it portray. Does it help to change the stigma attached to being a person with a disability when the POTUS is accused of making this gesture that was perceived as mocking this reporter?
