Description: Each student will explore a topic related to counseling methodology, taking into
account various points of view and what research has to say about the topic. Also, choose a
paper and write about the latest/current research in regards to your topic and relate its
findings. You should consult with research journals/databases and use at least five references
to complete this assignment. Papers are to be typed and free of grammatical and spelling
errors. Papers should be, at least, ten pages long. Cover page, abstract and your
reference page do not count. Cite your sources using APA Style.

i. Discuss limitations for certain populations (e.g., multicultural biases,
cultural factors, etc).
b. Controversy about the topic (cite sources)
c. What are some strengths and limitations of the research?
3. Latest/Current Research Related to the Assessment
