Instructions
Select an article of your choice related to the unit topic. Utilizing the key aspects and most salient points of the article, create an educational PowerPoint presentation that discusses how you as a manager can prevent some of the challenges the author spoke about. In addition:
Analyze key aspects of the article and strategies to identify, address, and resolve organizational and community conflicts related to diversity.
Identify previous and current challenges and stereotypes relative to elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and individuals of diverse religious and spiritual beliefs.
Identify any ethical and legal concerns that may occur in specific settings.
Propose potential solutions to conflicts between ethical codes, standards of care, employment settings, and the community.
Describe and commit to two specific learning goals to improve awareness, knowledge, and skill in managing cultural diversity in the public service arena.
Critically evaluate the reliability and credibility of the research.
