Imagine that you are the CEO of a successful domestic company. You know that in order for your company to grow, you will have to expand, globally.
Use the Internet and Strayer Library to research possible countries for expansion.
Note: You may create and/or assume all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment. The company or the product used for the paper may be real or fictitious. The paper will be graded based on the extent of research and your command of the material presented in the course
Write an eight to ten (6-8) page paper in which you:
Briefly describe the company and the product to be used for global expansion.
Based on your research, select a country for business expansion, and support your selection (i.e., cultural distance, economic, political or legal advantages, etc.). Make sure to review material relevant to assessing country environments.
Pick an entry mode (i.e., exporting, franchising, licensing, strategic alliance, joint venture, etc.). Support you selection on entry mode.
Determine the organizational structure for the expansion. Support your choice.
Determine the HR approach in staffing for the endeavor. Determine the tendency towards PCN, HCN or TCN (e.g., the percentages of each). Support your selection.
Propose the potential for future expansion and select one more country to expand into in the next two years.
Use at least four (4) quality academic resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and other similar websites do not qualify as academic resources. Class lecture(s) could be used as a source
