Discuss this in relation to the character of Ballantine in Spellbound and the character of Jack Torrance in The Shining, focusing especially on how the directors Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick choose to represent these unconscious forces in these two films.2. It is often criticized for being too didactic, and its lengthy explanations of how psychoanalysis works is said to interfere with the narrative flow.
