Ruth Begg is a 50 years old widow with two adult children aged 20 and 23, both children live from home.Roth
works part time at the local coles supermarket as a check out operator, Where she has been employed for the
last 15 years.Ruth has been recentry widowed; her husband was killed in a motor vehical accident 9 month
ago.after having been retired for 6 month.Ruth owns her own home and nolonger has a mortgage as Ruth and her
husband wrere able to pay off their home loan when her husband retired.
Ruth current health concerns include:
– Type 2 diabeties,she was diagnosed 18 months ago and her recommended management was diet and anti-diabetic
medications.
– Mild Hypertention.Her BP is 140/95,she was prescriped antihypertensive to manage her BP when diagonised
with hypertension at age of 48.
– Mild depression she was diagonised shortly after the death of her husband.However Ruth has never been known
as the life of the party and admit to having experienced episodes of sadness end melancholy at times over the
course of her aduiltwood……..
