JBI EBP: A recognized global leader in EBP, and includes more than 3,000 records across seven publication types. These include Evidence Summaries, Evidence-Based Recommended Practices, Best Practice Information Sheets, Systematic Reviews, Consumer Information Sheets, Systematic Review Protocols, & Technical Reports (GCU, 2016).
Unfortunately, sources found on the internet lack quality control or assurance in that the information published may be questionable or of any quality. McKibbons and Marks wrote, that a systematic review identified 47 rating schemes for evaluating the quality of internet sites which provide health information, and all were incompletely developed and gave no information on test reliability and validity (1998).
