Correction assignment.
For this assignment, you will need the Quantitative Literacy Research Essay that was recently returned.
Your paper has my comments on it. To read those comments, open your essay and from the top menu
click on “review” (Located in the center of the top menu). When in the review menu, click on the option
located in the middle of the page, “show comments.” Now, using the guideline provided below, make
corrections to your paper.
If you received a 90 or above on the Quantitative Literacy Research Essay, you are exempted out of
this assignment. Keep up the good work.
If you did not submit your paper, or you submitted your paper late, you will use the essay posted on
Blackboard, right under this assignment, to make the corrections.
All others will work on their own paper.
1. On a word document, make your corrections in a question answer format. For the questions,
paste my comments, as well as, the statement or section that was marked wrong. For the
answers, make the necessary corrections.
For example

In this manner, list all your errors and their corrections. In case you need more explanation on the
marked errors, read the old notes and websites posted on the course homepage.
2. After making all the corrections, summarize your paper into a short paragraph (200 300
words).
3. Followed by the summary, review the grading standards provided towards the end of this sheet,
and in a few sentences discuss what changes could you have made in order to do better on this
essay.
This exercise will assist you in constructing your final portfolio. Assignment due on Thursday, (10/15)
before midnight. Late work will not be collected.
