Organization and Cohesiveness 40 20% A quality paper will include an introduction based upon a well-formed thesis statement. The logical order of the content will be derived from the thesis statement. The content will be properly subdivided into sections derived from the outline. In a quality paper, the conclusion will summarize the previously presented content, and will complement the thesis statement from the introduction.
Editing 30 15% A quality paper will be free of any spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors. Sentences and paragraphs will be clear, concise, and factually correct.
Content 100 50% A quality paper will have significant scope and depth of research to support any statements. Relevant illustration or examples are encouraged. A quality paper will employ sound use of reasoning and logic to reinforce conclusions.
Total 200 100% A quality paper will meet or exceed all of the above requirements.

TOPIC SELECTION

Week 2 Course Project Assignment: Topic Selection (ungraded but required)Read the possible topic choices. Choose your term-paper topic and upload it via the Week 2 Dropbox titled Topic Selection. Your topic choice will be reviewed, and you will then receive feedback and/or approval of your topic choice. You do not have to select one of the listed topics. If there is a related topic that you would like to write about that is not listed, let the instructor know. The appropriateness of the topic will be evaluated against which TCO that your paper is intended to address.

Possible Computer Crime and Computer Terrorism Course Project Topics

For your convenience, below is a list of possible topics for you to consider. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. If there is not a topic listed here that you would like to research and write about, contact your instructor so that the appropriateness (TCO related, broad enough, etc.) of your topic can be assessed.

Once you begin your research, you will need to create an outline showing how your paper will be presented. Submit your outline in the Week 4 Dropbox titled Project Outline.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR COURSE PROJECT

Your Course Project topic needs to be related to computer crime or computer terrorism. This leaves a lot of room for you to choose a topic that really interests you. Your Course Project should be at least eight pages in length and include a conclusion/summary.

Your Course Project will be due in Week 6.
