Prior to Session 2, collect an article that discusses an ethics issue facing business. The articles must not be more than 6 months old and must come from a respected, recognized news source (e.g., The New York Times, The Economist, Barron’s, Washington Post, Business Week, Fortune, etc.) If you are not sure about a source, please ask. Note that typing your subject into an online search engine (e.g., Yahoo, Google, etc.) is not researching; use the library databases such as Business Source Premier, Lexis-Nexis, ProQuest, and Regional Business News.
Each current events review should have three headings, “Summary” (summarize the news article), “Analysis” (analyze the article in relation to class readings and discussions), and “Response” (thoughtfully respond with your own opinion to the news summary and analysis).
