If a student has been referred/deferred in any element of any of the above three modules, other than the exam component, they are required to submit either ONE or TWO pieces of coursework (depending on which elements – Report or Phase Test – they have been deferred/referred).

o If you have failed or been deferred in Phase Test you need to answer any ONE of the questions below in essay format.
o If you have failed more than one component a different essay (from the choice below) must be submitted for each failed element.

2. Clearly explain why business cycles occur.
3. Examine the fundamental causes of political unrest in some Arab nations and debate the consequences of this unrest for international business.
4. Debate the view that climate change is caused by human economic activity.
5. Assess the implications of a poor transport infrastructure on businesses and suggest policies that could be put in place to improve the transport network.
