WHAT IS AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY?
An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. Each citation is followed by a descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited (Engel et al, 2008).
During this assignment, you are required to:
Identify, read and write a brief critical summary of at least one journal article or section of a book or library source that is related to your chosen leader.
Identify, read and write a brief critical summary of at least one journal article or section of a book that is related to a trait/behavior/characteristic of leadership/leadership development that you wish to research more in relationship to your leader.
Identify one relevant web based resource, from credible source, related to your leader or to the same trait/behavior/characteristic of leadership development that interests you. Write a brief critical summary
Identify one current (2009/2010/2011) news article/magazine related to your leader or to the same trait/behavior/characteristic of leadership development that interests you. Write a brief critical summary
The articles and books and other sources you present in this assignment will be the sources you plan to use in further work on your chosen leader. Explain each sources’ relevance to your chosen leader. The summaries described above form your annotated bibliography (a summary of the main points within each reference).
Each critical summary will be approx 200 words.
When you submit the annotated bibliography please include all of the information related to your sources. Also be sure to give complete bibliographical information on each source ie a reference list. When it is a web based source include the web address and/or link. Follow APA referencing guidelines
