My hypothesis is about climate change and its affect on natural disasters later on focusing on tornadoes and how climate change has increased the strength and frequency of tornadoes.

(3) Explain in detail the causal relationship that your hypothesis is attempting to show. What is the relationship between the two variables in your refined hypothesis? Why do you think the proposed relationship exists? The causal relationship between the two variables in the refined hypothesis is when one variable causes a change in another variable. For example: The earth is warming because of of green house gases. So, if you reduced the amount of green house gases – would the globe become less warm? In this example – the variables are global warming and greenhouse gases.
(4) Define the variables of your hypothesis in terms that can be researched (i.e., the data that can be collected). Basically, what specific variables will you research (examine)? If you’ve said “natural disasters” without refining it to some specific type of disaster, you will need to define “natural disasters” so you (and I) know what you will examine. If you’ve said “hurricanes,” do you mean all hurricanes or particular categories of them?
(5) For each unit of analysis you’ve provided, write a brief explanation of how it accurately represents the variables within your hypothesis. Then, discuss the methodology that you will be using to obtain information. How will you go about gathering the data?
