Discuss these connections and how events affected your family and their farming. You might also identify other historical events (not specifically shown on the timeline) that affected your family’s agricultural practices in the U.S.

Analyze at least one narrow topic / connection.

Connect (explicate) to the larger historical discourse/conversation surrounding the farm.
Fully cited references in MLA style (including citations for personal interviews)
Study a small portion of the text and how it contributes to meaning. Connect or contrast to other texts. Develop complex ideas that go beyond surface reading. This will require addition research.
Present information from reliable source found outside of the reading to add context
