Beginning with a blank document – Basic info:
1. Type in your “Main Idea”
2. With the “Main Idea” box selected, move cursor to area where you’d like the second box. While holding “Ctrl”, click mouse.
3. To add line words, move cursor to point at line & click. Move cursor inside text box, click and type.
a. Move text box up/down line by click/dragging on black dot.
4. Continue to add information boxes and line words.
a. Don’t worry about neatness yet… just connections!
b. If connecting line attaches to wrong spot, select box, click on arrow head (or base) and drag to any of the other boxes.
c. When adding boxes, be sure starting box is selected.
To change color and style of symbols:
