(M4) B/I:  Create a Handout on Campus/Community Resources

Using one of the free software programs listed below, create a handout, slide show, or presentation of four or five campus or community resources designed to decrease crime and or violence on campus (self-defense classes, student escort services, etc…) or in the community (neighborhood watch, shelters for domestic violence, etc…).  Upload the document to Canvas.  Please see the grading rubric for additional guidelines.

(M6) B/I:  Contraceptive Infographic

After reading chapter 7 and 1/2 of chapter 14, please pick one of the forms of contraception and create an infographic about it.

1. Types of contraception: (Choose 1)

Male condom, insertable condom, birth control pills, contraceptive patch, injectable contraceptives, IUD, contraceptive implant, diaphragm, cervical cap, vaginal ring, and fertility awareness methods.

2. Create the infographic

I suggest using the website “Canva” (www.canva.com (Links to an external site.)) to create these. You will need to create a free account with them and go from there. You can also use PowerPoint (PPT) or PDF if you are proficient in Adobe.

3. Information that should be on the infographic:

1. Effectiveness in percentages

2. Two (2) advantages to using this type of contraception

3. Two (two) disadvantages / side effects to this type of contraception.

4. Two (2) statistics about this type of contraception.

4. Upload the completed project to Canvas
