I currently work at a hospital in their medical records department to gain experience in my field and love what I do. I enjoy not working with people and strictly dealing with their records instead. I hope to work somewhere else when I graduate though.
I want to go back to school for my masters in Business Administration in the Fall of 2018. I want to do more with my degree. I want to move towards working in the IT department working as a project manager, or work my way up to becoming a compliance officer. Whichever interests me more after gaining more knowledge on the job.

Hello classmates, my name is Essence James. I am a senior from Memphis, TN major in Health Sciences Concentration Physical Sciences. I started as a freshman here at Tennessee State University in 2014 as a nursing major but unfortunately that program is having difficulties with accreditation I believe, so I changed to something else. I enjoy being a part of the Aristocrat of Bands here at TSU, also eating, shopping and hanging out with friends.
