The newly elected President of the United States has asked you to help him or her determine who will be asked to advise him or her in some important matters.  These will not be Cabinet Members, but will be experts in their fields who can share their expertise with the President on various matters. You are to write a paper that gives what you believe are the best choices for specific advisors from the theorists discussed in this week’s reading and tell why you have selected each. This is for the President of the United States, so you need to use academic writing skills and organize it well. It is not a persuasive essay, but a work document that shows good critical thinking skills and knowledge of the best people to choose for each advising position. The Presidents wants you to include the following five advisors: 2 people to assist in writing the State of the Union Message.2 people to fly with the President on Air Force One to brief the President on policy formation and implementation1 person to be a regular lunch companion. Note that the President expects to discuss policy at lunch.

This paper should demonstrate your understanding of the theories and contributions.It needs to be 6-8 double-spaced pages.It needs to include at least six additional scholarly references (beyond the text) from the APUS library.
