Purpose: To develop a Social Media Marketing Plan for a Hypothetical Business Venture
The MK110 Term project is designed to allow students to demonstrate what they have and are learning in this course about SMM by developing a comprehensive subset of a SMM Plan. Asocial media marketing plan(SMMP) is a written summary describing everything that an entrepreneur intends to achieve for his or her business using social networks/ platforms as major marketing tools. Not only does a well-developed SMM Plan guide the actions undertaken by a business venture, it also serves as a resource used to evaluate the extent to which a venture is succeeding or failing in achieving its marketing goals using social media marketing tools.
To provide you with insights about the nature and content in a SMMP, Chapter 15, which focuses on the SMMP, has been assigned for study. Additionally, previously assigned as well as the chapters that you will be studying each week during the time frame for this term project, will impart insights about social media marketing that you should be able to apply to developing your SMMP.
Guidelines
Your objective is to develop apartialSMM Plan which involves the items that are discussed in the next section.
Your social media marketing plan should be based on the premise that you are in the initial stages of a start-up business or launching a new/improved product or service idea. It must consist of the following sections. (Note:Page numbers refer to information in your textbook about the topicwhich will serve as a guide for what should be discussed in each section of the SMM Plan).
Format
