As a junior congressperson if I am involved in promoting the bill to allow casino gambling in my state I would say No for this. Because Casino gambling is something where many people sit together and entertain themselves by playing different games and investing lots of money in there which in return can give either profit or loss which depends on how good they play. Gambling can be positive as well as negatives from a different point of views. It just depends on one whose has money and one who doesn’t have.
Casino gambling can become an addiction to people and makes them away from their works and spend all valuable time on playing. And many politicians think that money coming out from gambling is falling out from trees but the truth is that the money is coming out from people’s pocket. So, when it comes from people’s perspective they say yes to gambling because if a politician gives an option of taxes or gambling then they obviously say yes to gambling so that they can reduce higher taxes.
PROS:
As of my view, Pros of casino gambling will be gaining money to the government. If there is a casino in particular state then there will be a lot of investors who are involved in playing casino gambling. So, these investments become an advantage to the government.
This casino gambling will be a good entertainment and because of this in particular state can attract many visitors.
CONS:
Gambling can be considered as not productive in the industry. Because once a person entering into gambling only the time and money is wasted but in return, nothing can be gained instead of losing a valuable time. This can be well-defined as an expensive-pleasure. Gambling can be more effective because of its addictive.
