Rf Average = average of other students’ Rf values, if available.

1. Rfvaluesarecalculatedratios ofhowfaramoleculemovedupthepaperchromatographas comparedtothelengthofthesolventfront.Thesevaluesaretypicallyequivalentformultiple trials.Calculate your Rf values based on your paper strip results, and record them inTable 1.
