When comparing IT projects with other large construction projects, construction projects has a way of planning in terms of time in the advance of. In lure of IT projects they are fairly new on the a first time base and it would not be easy determining a timeline and a budget for IT projects because of what it takes for designing. When building software or websites it requires time because if different parts or items needed from customer demands and developments are frequently changed to get the right design whereas it would be different for large construction projects because they are planned advance or predefined and budgeted for construction but changes can be made during construction process. IT projects is sometimes not achieved after much funds has been spent because of knowledge and time.
