2.2 – Discussion (In-Depth Analysis) Topic 2: Country Risk
A major topic addressed in this module is country risk.
My discussion topic is to identify three forms of political risk other than a takeover of a subsidiary by the host government, and then briefly evaluate how each factor can affect the risk to the MNC. Identify two common financial factors for a MNC to consider when assessing country risk. Briefly elaborate on how each of these two factors can affect the risk to the MNC. Your post should demonstrate that you can conduct a scholarly dialogue, and apply one or more concepts from your readings with original analysis and interpretation.
